Kenner Action Figures

Collectors who simply must have every single Kenner Star Wars action figure made by Kenner are going to need plenty of shelf space to show off their collection. All in all Kenner produced over 90 unique action figures between 1977 and 1985. Kenner produced more than one version of some of the more prominent Star Wars characters, like R20-D2 and C-3PO.

Kenner Star Wars action figures captured the imagination of collectors partly because they really were designed for action. Typically their Star Wars action figures were less than four inches and moveable at five different places on their bodies. Kenner was eventually absorbed into Hasbro which continues to produce Star Wars related toys, but the original Kenner action figures are the most prized by collectors.

Star Wars owes a lot of Flash Gordon and other older sci-fi classics. Many of these shows and movies had their own toy line, including these rare Buck Rogers collectibles. Kenner, Matel, and others even recreate older toys for new generations.
