R2D2 Action Figures

He is the other half of the droid duo of C3PO and R2D2. Artoo appears in all six Star Wars movies. In the second trilogy R2D2 belongs to Queen Amidala. He is eventually passed on to Princess Leia. R2D2 first meets Luke in A New Hope. Artoo is handy in any predicament; from repairing ships to freeing princess Leia from the chain in Return of the Jedi. He also accompanies Luke to Dagobah, where Yoda lives. R2D2 has all sorts of handy gadgets and resources also.

An R2D2 miniature was made by Kenner in 1977. Locate R2D2 antique Star Wars action figures on EBay today. You will need to buy an R2D2 collectible action figure to complete your collection. Kenner makes a couple of R2D2 toys.
